 | Waukee Christian Church invites everyone seeking a place to worship God and enjoy good Christian fellowship fo join us for worship and all other activities of the church. We welcome people from all faith traditions or who have no church background at all.
The Evangelism Ministry strives to create a visitor-friendly church. When visitors arrive for a church function, a person will greet them and provide information about nursery, coffee, bathrooms, worship aids, etc. The goal is for our visitors and guests to feel comfortable and welcome in our midst. When possible, we will follow-up with the individuals and families who visit, answer any questions they may have, and invite them back for worship and other activities of the congregaiton. Our Evangelism Ministry coordinates the welcome and assimilation of new members to our congregation by arranging for new member classes, assigning a Shepherd/mentor to our new members, and introducing new members to the congregation through photos and interviews in the church's newsletter. |
