MINISTRIES - OUTREACH AND MISSION
This ministry is one of the most vital and active ministries at Waukee Christian Church. The ministry team promotes mission awareness and education, encourages the congregation to participate in various outreach projects, and promotes concern and action on behalf on troubled individuals, society, and the environment. This ministry also coordinates the special outreach offerings in cooperation with denominational bodies--the regional church and the general church of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
The congregation also supports its many members who are actively involved in various helping ministries in the community and beyond.
