ABOUT US - WHO WE ARE
 | We, the congregation of Waukee Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), believe that God is the creator and sustainer of all things. We are people who seek to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind. We seek to reach out to others through our involvement in Worship, Christian Education, Evangelism, Hospitality, Outreach and Mission, and Stewardship.
We are affiliated with and an integral part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada, and the Christian Church in the Upper Midwest. The purpose of this congregation is the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through all areas of its life and work, witnessing in all situations to the grace of God in Jesus Christ, thereby seeking in all people a response in faith and commitment to God. Persons become members of the congregation by confession of faith and baptism or by transfer of membership from another congregation of any denomination. We baptize believers by immersion and celebrate holy communion every Sunday. All who believe in Jesus Christ are welcome at the Lord's Table. |
